Apart from diving in the Similan, MV Gentle Giant also offers a unique diving itinerary that no one else does and only a few trips per year. Most of the divers must have already been familiar with the famous Similan islands which is located at the North Andaman sea, but do you know that the South Andaman sea also have some fantastic dive sites such as Koh Haa and Hin Daeng Hin Muang. It is becoming more well known and popular in the past few years among divers.
Giant pelagic such as whale shark and manta can also be spotted from time to time. Coral reef and fish life are still healthy due to less boats that visit here. Most liveaboard operators run trips to the Similan islands while a few run trips either to the Similan islands or Hin Daeng Hin Muang. This is because of the extra fuel expense that is required to cover the distance between the North and the South Andaman sea. But as to make our trip unique and special, we run trip to both North and South Andaman in just one single trip (Similan, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng Hin Muang, King Cruiser Wreck and so on). Our trip normally takes 7 days 6 nights with a total of 22 dives.
